Your Ultimate Guide to Port of Spain Outdoor Wedding Venues

Planning an outdoor wedding in Port of Spain? You’re in for a treat! This city is brimming with venues that offer everything from historic charm to lush, tropical landscapes. Whether you’re dreaming of a large grand wedding or an intimate celebration, there’s a spot here to make your day unforgettable. Let’s dive into some of the best outdoor wedding venues Port of Spain and its surroundings have to offer.

Castle Killarney, Port of Spain

Also known as Stollmeyer’s Castle, this iconic venue combines historic architecture with sprawling grounds perfect for a romantic outdoor ceremony. With its Instagram-worthy charm, Castle Killarney offers a dreamy backdrop for your wedding day!

Samaan Estate, St Clair

Picture dancing the night away under a large Samaan tree with hanging lights. Samaan Estate is conveniently located in Port of Spain and has both an indoor AC space and outdoor backyard for hosting events. Their team is extremely helpful and the venue can accommodate a big wedding party. There are also no vendor restrictions, which is a big plus for some couples!

Veronique’s, St Clair

Located just off the Queen’s Park Savannah on Mary Street, this venue is a charming, historic home complete with wooden floors and large garden with Samaan trees. The owner, Veronique herself ensures everything goes smoothly on your day and welcomes you into her home with open arms.

Esperanza Alta, St Ann’s

Esperanza is a hummingbird paradise! Esperanza, which means ‘hope’ in Spanish, will leave you feeling hopeful about the conservation efforts in Trinidad by its private citizens. It is home dozens of hummingbird species, parrots, lizards and other animals and just a stone’s throw away from Port of Spain. This venue is a prime spot for backyard-inspired weddings where you truly feel at home.

Mille Fleurs, Port of Spain

Mille Fleurs is a historic beauty!! It’s filled with perfectly manicured lawns and architectual charm that sets the scene for a timeless and elegant wedding day. I recently captured a stunning outdoor celebration here—take a look at my blog for a closer peek: A Romantic Outdoor Trinidad Wedding at Mille Fleurs.

North Deck, Paramin

The views alone will make your jaw drop! If your dream is to get married surrounded by jungle and an epic sea view at sunset, North Deck is for you! This two story venue offers coverage in the event of rain and there are several guest rooms onsite that you can rent for the night - a perfect place to rest after your long day and wake up in the trees!

Mahogany Ridge, Paramin

The views alone will make you consider Mahogany Ridge. It’s a perfect spot for smaller, intimate weddings where guests can enjoy the cool breeze from the mountains while looking out at the panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Waterville Estate, Santa Cruz

Another gem hidden in the valley of Santa Cruz, Waterville Estate offers a modern restroom facility, their beautifully appointed Bridal Suite, outdoor entertaining area and lush vegetation. The hillside of the Northern Range mountains makes for an epic backdrop to your ceremony/reception.

Drew Manor, Santa Cruz

This large venue is located in the lush valley of Santa Cruz, meaning it gets cool at night. The grounds allows you to host your ceremony outdoors amongst the trees and then head poolside to dance the night away! My personal favourite, their ladies’ bathroom facilities! It is so well kept and the AC in there is the perfect cool down.

Henry’s Place, St Clair

Henry’s Place is both chic and versatile! This timeless wedding venue offers both indoor and outdoor options. If you are looking for an elegant spot to get married in Port of Spain, this one is definitely for you! It's perfectly polished gardens and elegant decor makes it a top choice!
