A Romantic Outdoor Trinidad Wedding at Mille Fleurs

If you’re from Trinidad & Tobago, you’re definitely familiar with the Magnificent Seven - a group of seven historical mansions located along the Queen’s Park Savannah. They were all build in the early 1900s and were inspired by varying European architecture. If you’re a visitor, a trip to the Queen’s Park Savannah to admire this row of houses is a must! Do this while sipping on a fresh coconut or sno-cone of course!

Mille Fleurs | A Dreamy Wedding Venue in Trinidad

Mille Fleurs, one of the houses that’s known for its beautiful soft blue colour, was built in 1904! It was recently restored in 2020 to its former glory by the government of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2023, Mille Fleurs began hosting events and weddings - making it a coveted venue for those who imagine an outdoor, romantic and regal affair!

The venue has landscaped gardens, fully renovated bathrooms to the rear and wrap around porches that make you swoon! I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding held at Mille Fleurs, and boy was it gorgeous!! The ceremony was held along the lawn, surrounded by greenery and distant views of the Queens Park Savannah.

A Luxury Wedding Day at Mille Fleurs

For this wedding, the bride chose decor schemes of blue and white. The decor complimented Mille Fleurs perfectly and made it feel like you were in a foreign country! Long tables filled with white flowers and green fruit, it truly felt like a dream. Guests sipped drinks with the gorgeous mansion in the background and got to explore the grounds of this newly renovated architectural gem in Port of Spain. While ceremonies cannot be held inside, there is the option to take your wedding photos within the beautiful rooms of Mille Fleurs - I highly recommend this!

Have a look at the beautiful set up for this romantic wedding at Mille Fleurs, where the bride and groom shared their first dance with the illuminated mansion in the background!
