There’s something about Maracas Beach in the early morning that feels like pure magic. When we arrived for Brandon and Qetsia’s engagement session, the entire shoreline was quiet and calm. Since it was a weekday, we practically had the place to ourselves, which meant we could soak in all the sun, sea, and sand without distraction. The waves rolled in gently, the light was soft and golden, and the tropical breeze set the perfect tone for a relaxed shoot!

From Canada to Maracas Beach

Brandon and Qetsia live in Canada, but they made the trip down to Trinidad to visit family and escape the cold. During their trip, they decided to document this special season of life with a beachside engagement shoot. It felt so true to who they are. Laid back, joyful and ready to dive in to this next chapter together. Celebrating their love in such a vibrant location made the photos feel effortless and natural.

Throughout the session, they laughed, danced, and didn’t take anything too seriously. That always makes for the best moments! The beach gave us the dreamiest backdrop with crystal clear water, tall palms, and tropical colors everywhere you looked. There’s something extra special about capturing love in a place like this. Every shot felt like a little escape!
