Andrea and Ross had only been engaged for about two weeks when we met up at Las Cuevas Beach, and you could feel the joy radiating off them. They were still in that dreamy stage where every look, every laugh, and every little touch carried so much excitement. As a photographer, there is nothing better than capturing that newly engaged glow! The timing was perfect too because they were heading back overseas soon, and this was a chance to freeze those sweet moments before life swept them up again.

Why We Chose Las Cuevas Beach

Andrea and Ross already loved spending time at Las Cuevas Beach, so it felt right to make it the backdrop for their photos. The week before had been rainy, which had me crossing my fingers, but on the day of their session the skies finally cleared. To make it even more magical, the beach was completely empty. It was just us, the soft waves, and that endless stretch of sand. Having such a wide open space gave them the freedom to play and move naturally. It made every photo feel effortless!

Champagne and Candid Moments

We kicked things off with a champagne pop, which immediately set the tone for the afternoon. Andrea and Ross laughed, sprayed bubbles everywhere, and leaned into each other with such ease. From there, we wandered along the shore, stopping whenever they instinctively reached for one another. Honestly, I hardly had to direct them because they were so in tune and willing to go with the flow! They were twirling, running barefoot, and pausing just to soak in the moment. It all felt so relaxed and it was a dream to capture.

Looking back, what stands out most is how Andrea and Ross were simply enjoying themselves. They were playful and affectionate, and it made my job almost too easy.
